In the Asian Hockey Championship, India played 1-1 draw against South Korea at Kuantan, Malaysia. The reigning Asian Games Champion, India went down in the 11th minute as Korea's Junwoo Jeong scored a field goal and helped its side take the lead. While defending hard, the PR Sreejesh led Indian side equalised in the third quarter as Lalit Upadhyay scored with a magnificent reverse hit on the turn past the Korean goalkeeper. Despite several attempts by Indian attackers the scoreline remained 1-1 at the end of regulation time.In a much talked about match India will be taking on Pakistan today. The match will begin at 4 PM Indian Time. Earlier, India had routed Japan 10-2 in its opening encounter. In this six nations tournament, India is the highest ranked international team and the only team from Asia to play in Olympics this year.
