India bagged a haul of eight medals, two gold, two Silver and four bronze, in the inaugural edition of Asian Grand Prix Archery Championship at Bangkok yesterday.In the compound Men's individual category, Jignas C. won the Gold, after defeating China's He Ying in a nerve wrecking match, 145-142.The Compound Men's trio of Jignas C., Abhishek Verma, Ritual Chatterjee claimed one more coveted yellow metal for India, registering a win over Vietnam, 226-218.Rahul Banerjee in Recurve Men and Anjali Kumari in Compound Women clinched a Silver each in individual capacity.In the Recurve Men's event, Atanu Das took the bronze.Recurve Women's team of Bombayala Devi, Dola Banerjee and Rimil Biruli won a bronze against Indonesia. Bombayla Devi grabbed an individual bronze in the same section.Atanu and Bombayala defeated their opponent team in the Mixed team event to give India its fourth bronze medal.
