Grappler Yogeshwar Dutt bagged gold in the wrestling men's 65 kg weight class of the Incheon Asian Games. In final bout he defeated Tajakistan's Zalim Khan in a very close contest, 1-Zero. Whereas, Babita Kumari and Satywart Kadian lost their bronze medal matches in their respective categories. India has now stepped in to top 10 of the medals table. India is currently at 8th position with 4 gold 5 silver and 26 bronze. Athletics brought the first medal of the day in form of a silver. Khushbir Kaur finished second in the Women's 20km Race Walk. Sprinter, Poovamma Raju finished third in women's 400 meter to bring the second medal from athletics. Rajiv Arokia in men's 400 meter also bagged bronze. Hammer Thrower Manju Bala secured a bronze as well. Three bronze medal came from tennis today. In men's singles, Yuki Bhambri settled for a bronze after his semi-final loss. Sania Mirza and her women's doubles partner Prarthana Thombare had to be content with a bronze. Sania Mirza along with her partner entered mixed doubles final. The Indians had won the first set 6-1 before rain interrupted. Indian duo of Sanam Singh and Saketh Myneni have entered finals of men's doubles. Another Indian men's doubles pair of Yuki Bhambri and Divij Sharan settled for bronze. In Boxing, MC Mary Kom, Laishram Sarita Devi and Pooja Rani sealed semi-final berths. Devendro Laishram blitzed through Round-of-16 to enter quarter finals. In Kabaddi, India dominated Bangladesh in the preliminary round in both Men's and Women's section. In Canoeing, doubles event Raju Rawat and Ajit Kumar Shah and singles event Gaurav Tomar entered final. In Kayak, singles event Albert Raju, Men's 4 team and Women's doubles team all have sailed into the finals. In Table Tennis, both Men's and Women's teams lost their preliminary round matches. The Indian Women's Basketball team lost to Japan in the quarterfinals, 37-70. In Handball, Men's Classification for 13th and 14th place, India lost to UAE.
