In the Incheon Asian Games this morning, Indian shooters bagged Silver. In the Men's 25-metre Center Fire Pistol Team event, the trio of Pemba Tamang, Gurpreet Singh and Vijay Kumar finished second to take India's overall medals tally to 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 13 Bronze.In other results, the Indian Women's and Men's Squash team waltzed into Finals. This brightens hope for two Gold medals now. In the semi-finals, women's team defeated Korea 2-Nil and Men's team defeated Kuwait 2-Nil to seal place in the Finals. The Squash team will play their Gold medal match tomorrow.Pugilists Kuldeep Singh in men's 81 kg weight class beats Thailand's Anavat 2-1 to reach quarter final and Shiva Thapa records a technical Knock out victory over Pakistan's Nadir to reach quarter finals. Akhil Kumar, and Amritpreet Singh will play their pre-quarterfinal bouts later today.The Women's Hockey team defeated Malaysia 6-1 in a group match. In Badminton, Saina Nehwal, P. Kashyap and K Srikanth crashed out at their respective stages. Earlier, in mixed doubles pair of Mannu Attri and and Sikki Reddy lost in round of 16. However, the men's doubles team is playing against Malaysia.In Tennis, Yuki Bhambri and Sanam Singh booked quarterfinal berths in singles event. India's Sania Mirza and Prarthana Thombre regitered victory and moved to quarters. In Men's Doubles event pair of Sanam Singh and Saketh Myneni beat Alhaqbani and Ahmed of Saudi Arabia to reach quarters.Swimmer Sandeep Sejwal stormed into the finals of the 50-metre breaststroke this morning.
