Asian Games: India win 3 gold medals; tally rises to 10 gold, 13 silver & 29 bronze

At Guangzhou, India's Gold Medal haul in the 16th Asian Games has climbed to 10. On the 13th day of competitions on Thursday, India won three Gold and three bronze medals. With the addition of six more medals, India's tally in the Games has now risen to Ten Gold, 13 Silver and 29 Bronze. The three gold medals were clinched by Ashwini Chidananda in women's 400 metre hurdles, Joseph Abraham in men's 400 metres hurdles and Vikas Krishan in the 60 kg boxing event. The three bronze medals were bagged by Tintu Lukka in women's 800 metres, Mausam Khatri in the Men's 96 kg freestyle wrestling and the Men's Hockey team when they beat South Korea by a solitary goal in the third-place playoff match.
