On the 8th day of Incheon Asian Games, India have clinched two gold. This is the best day so far in this Asiad in terms of medals won. India has won two gold two silver and three bronze today.Indian Men's Squash team scripts history as they won the first ever Gold medal in the Asiad. They defeated Malayasin Team 2-Nil to fetch the gold. This was fourth medal from squash in this Asian Games. Earlier, today Indian Women's team settled for a silver after loosing to Malaysia Nil-2. Squash has given 1 Gold 2 Silver and a bronze.In the morning, Archery bagged Gold their first ever yellow metal. In the Men's Compound team event, the trio of Abhishek Verma, Sandeep Kumar and Rajat Chauhan defeated champions South Korea, 227-225. Shooter Jitu Rai had won the first Gold on the opening day. Earlier today, in the Women's section, the team of Trisha Deb, Purvasha Shende and Jyothi Vennam defeated Iran, 224-217 to win a Bronze. In the men's compound Individual section Abhishek Verma settled for a silver as he lost to Iran's Esmaeil Ebadi 141-145 in finals. In the women's compound Individual section, Trisha Deb clinched bronze after defeating Huang Jao of Chinese Taipei 138-134.In Shooting, Chain Singh bagged Bronze in the Men's 50-metre Rifle-3 Positions.In Men's Hockey Indian team defeat China 2-NIL in a group match today.In other results, grapplers Vinesh and Geetika Jakhar lost their semi-final bouts of their respective categories. They will compete for bronze.In Boxing, MC Mary Kom, Laishram Sarita Devi and Pooja Rani have advanced to the quarter finals today. In the Men's section, Mandeep Jangra and Gaurav Bidhuri will play for semi-final berths in their respective categories. In Tennis, Yuki Bhambri sailed into the semi-finals in men's singles event. Sania Mirza along with her women's doubles partner have entered the semi final and two Indian pair in Men's doubles have entered the semi finals.
