In the Incheon Asian Games, India has clinched two gold, 3 silver and six bronze today. In squash and archery India bagged Gold for the first time in the history of Asian Games.Men's Squash team registered victory over Malaysia 2-Nil for gold. In the Men's Compound team event, the trio of Abhishek Verma, Sandeep Kumar and Rajat Chauhan defeated South Korea, 227-225. Earlier, Women's team defeated Iran to win a Bronze.In the compound individual section, Abhishek Verma settled for a silver and Trisha Deb got a bronze.Athletics event bagan today. In a turn of events, Bahrain's Ruth Jebet, who finished first, in women's 3000m steeplechase has been disqualified, for cutting her lane.For that reason India's Lalita Babar have been upgraded to silver and Sudha Singh is awarded a bronze.Earlier, results were declared with Lalita Babar finishing third and Sudha Singh fourth. In Men's 400m Rajiv Arokia and Mohammed Kunhu have qualified for the finals.
