In the Incheon Asian Games, India has clinched two gold, two silver and five bronze today. In squash and archery India bagged Gold for the first time in the history of Asian Games.Men's Squash team registered victory over Malaysia 2-Nil for gold. Earlier, today Indian Women's team settled for a silver after losing to Malaysia Nil-2.In the morning, Archery bagged the second gold medal for India. In the Men's Compound team event, the trio of Abhishek Verma, Sandeep Kumar and Rajat Chauhan defeated South Korea, 227-225. Earlier, Women's team defeated Iran to win a Bronze. In the compound individual section, Abhishek Verma settled for a silver and Trisha Deb got a bronze.In Shooting, Chain Singh bagged Bronze in the Men's 50-metre Rifle-3 Positions.In other results, grapplers Vinesh Phogat in women's 48 kg and Geetika Jakhar in women's 63 kg grabbed bronze. Pugilist, MC Mary Kom, Laishram Sarita Devi and Pooja Rani have advanced to the quarter finals today. In the Men's section, Gaurav Bidhuri have entered the quarter finals in men's 52 kg weight class and Mandeep Jangra will play for a place in the quarter finals later in the evening. The Men's Hockey team defeated China 2-NIL in a group match today and made a place in the semi final.In Tennis, Yuki Bhambri in men's singles, Sania Mirza along with her women's doubles and mixed doubles partner and two Indian pair in Men's doubles have entered the semi finals.Athletics events began today. In Men's 400m Mohammed Kunhu and Rajiv Arokia have qualified for the semi final. MR Poovamma and Mandeep Kaur have qualified for Women's 400m finals. Men's 5000m final will see Kheta Ram and Suresh Kumar Patel and in Women's 3000m steeplechase final Lalita Babar and Sudha Singh will figure.Table Tennis saw Indian men's and women's team registering victory in their prelimnary group matches. And, in Volleyball China defeated India in Women's quarterfinal.India is at 11th position in the medals table with 3 gold 4 silver and 18 bronze.
