On the 7th day of Incheon Asian Games, India have bagged a silver and a bronze so far. Silver came from the shooting range whereas bronze came from the pool. India's overall medals tally is now 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 14 Bronze. Indian shooters bagged Silver in the Men's 25-metre Center Fire Pistol Team event, the trio of Pemba Tamang, Gurpreet Singh and Vijay Kumar finished second. In the Individual event, Pamba was 8th, Gurpreet 9th and Vijay 12th. In the Women's 50-metre Rifle-3 positions event, the team of Lajja Gawswami, Anjali Bhagwat and Tejaswini Muley finished sixth. In the individual section Finals, Lajja Gawswami failed to win a medal.Swimmer Sandeep Sejwal finished third in the 50-metre breaststroke finals to bring the first medal from pool in this Asiad. He claimed bronze as Kazakhsthan won the Gold and Japan took the silver in the event.In other results, the Indian Women's and Men's Squash team waltzed into Finals. This brightens hope for two Gold medals now. In the semi-finals, women's team defeated Korea 2-Nil and Men's team defeated Kuwait 2-Nil to seal place in the Finals. The Squash team will play their Gold medal match tomorrow.India women's volleyball team stormed into the quarterfinals after beating Maldives in straight sets of 3-Nil, whereas the men's team lost to Iran 3-Nil in their last Group match.Indian Women's Hockey team reach semi final today after they defeated Malaysia 6-1 in a group clash.Pugilists Kuldeep Singh in men's 81 kg weight class beat Thailand's Anavat 2-1 to reach quarter final and Shiva Thapa records a technical Knock out victory over Pakistan's Nadir to reach quarter finals. Akhil Kumar, and Amritpreet Singh will play their pre-quarterfinal bouts later today.Contention for any more medal in Badminton ended today as Indian Shuttlers made exit at different stages in their respective events. Ace shuttler, Saina Nehwal lost 21-18, 9-21, 7-21 to world number three Yihan Wang of China in quarter finals of women's singles. Parupalli Kashyap and Kidambi Srikanth crashed out in the pre-quarterfinals stage in men's singles. PV Sindhu had made an exit from the Games yesterday. Even mixed doubles and men's doubles team made an exit today.In Archery, the Indian Women's team lost to South Korea, 6-Nil in the Recurve semi-finals. The Men's team had lost to Hong Kong, 3-5 in the eliminations.In the Individual Recurve event, Laxmirani Majhi loses 2-6 to Chang Hyejin in quarterfinal; Atanu Das loses 6-Nil to South Korea's Jinhyek Oh in quarterfinal. Earlier, Dipika Kumari and Jayanta Talukdar lost in the eliminations.In Tennis, Yuki Bhambri and Sanam Singh booked quarterfinal berths in singles event. India's Sania Mirza and Prarthana Thombre regitered victory and moved to quarters. In Men's Doubles event pair of Sanam Singh and Saketh Myneni beat Alhaqbani and Ahmed of Saudi Arabia to reach quarters.
