Asian Games: India bags one silver, one bronze on day 7

India bagged a silver and a bronze on 7th day of the Incheon Asian Games. India's overall medals tally is now 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 14 Bronze.AIR correspondent reports that wraps up the 7th day, medal that comes unexpectedly is cheered more and celebrated even more.Swimmer Sandeep Sejwal finished third in the 50-metre breaststroke finals to bring the first medal from pool in this Asiad. This was his first ever medal at International platform.Marksmen continue their medal run as they bagged silver in the Men's 25-metre Center Fire Pistol Team event. Besides shooting lot of positives occurred over the day.Indian Women's and Men's Squash team waltzed into Finals brightening hope for two Gold medals.After a hush day from Hockey on Thursday, women's team reach semi finals bringing smiles back.Women's volleyball team stormed in quarterfinals. Tennis contingent had a rather good day at court.Yuki Bhambri, Sanam Singh booked quarterfinal berths in singles event. Men's, Women's, and Mixed doubles team made place in the top 8.As per expectations boxers had a mix outing. Pugilist Kuldeep Singh and Shiva Thapa advanced to quarters.But Akhil Kumar and Amritpreet Singh lost their pre-quarterfinal bouts.The let down of the day was that contention for any more medal in Badminton ended, Indian Shuttlers bowed out of the games at different stages in their respective events. Like Compound's event Recurve was not bright for Indian Archers.Now it's on to boxers and wrestlers to sail the Indian ship to it's golden horizon.
