The official draws of football for the upcoming Asian Games were announced today. 

According to the draws, 24 teams will be competing in the men's event while the women's category will have 11 nations. 

India is not part of it as the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) chose not to clear Indian men's and women's football teams after they failed to meet the qualifying criteria. 

Men's football will be contested from August 14 to September 1 in Jakarta and Palembang. Women's football competition will be held from August 16 to 31.
