Saurav Ghosal today bagged India's first ever Silver medal in Squash at the Asian Games. In the Men's Singles final, Abdullah Almezayen of Kuwait came from two games behind to beat top seed Saurav, 2-3 and hand him a Silver medal. This is India's second medal in Squash at the Incheon Games, as Dipika Pallikal had won Bronze in the Women's Singles yesterday.Earlier today, Olympian Abhinav Bindra claimed a Bronze each in the Individual and Team events of the 10-metre Air Rifle category. In the Individual section, Abhinav ended at the third position with a total of 187.1 points. The team event also saw the trio of Abhinav, Ravi Kumar and Sanjeev Rajput finish third. Abhinav had, earlier, announced that this will be his final Asian Games.In the Women's Team Trap Finals, the Indian team of Shreyasi Singh, Seema Tomar and Shagun Chowdhary finished eighth.Harpreet Singh, Gurpreet Singh and Pemba Tamang are currently figuring in the Men's 25-metre Rapid Fire Pistol event.India now have a total of 9 medals — 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 7 Bronze — in their kitty. 6 of them, including the Gold, have come in Shooting.Events of Archery are also underway. Lifters Sathish Sivalingam, Katulu Ravi Kumar and Punam Yadav will be eyeing to repeat their Glasgow Commonwealth Games performance and win top honours in their respective categories today.In Gymnastics, Ashish Kumar and Rakesh Kumar are currently trying their luck in the Men's Individual All-Around Final. Glasgow Commonwealth Games Bronze medalist Dipa Karmarkar and Pranati Nayak will figure in the Women's Individual All-Around Final, later today.In Wushu, a sport derived from Chinese Martial Arts, Sanathoi Devi and Narender Grewal are about to play their respective semi-final matches. They assured at least two Bronze medals for India.The Indian Men's Hockey team will take on Oman in a group match.China is currently at the top of the medals tally, with Korea second and Japan third. India is at the 12th spot.
