India yesterday failed to defend their Men's Asian Champions Trophy Hockey title. In the final match of the second edition of the event at Doha, the Sardar Singh-led Indian team lost to arch-rivals Pakistan, 4-5 and settled for the silver medal. India had led at half-time, 2-1. But Pakistan, who was last year's finalists as well, scored three goals in the second half to bag the Gold medal.
