In Asia Cup Twenty-20 Cricket, Bangladesh stunned defending champions Sri Lanka with a 23-run victory in a round-robin match at Dhaka last night. Opting to bat, the hosts posted 147 for 7 riding on Sabbir Rahman's heroic 54-ball 80. Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah also made valuable contributions. Then Bangladeshi bowlers restricted Sri Lanka to 124 for 8 in the stipulated 20 overs. Al-Amin Hossain claimed three wickets while Shakib Al Hasan took two wickets. Rahman was adjudged man of the match. This was Bangladesh's second victory in 3 games, and they are now second in the table behind India who have won both of their matches, so far. Today, Pakistan will take on UAE at 7 PM. India will clash with Sri Lanka tomorrow. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has been fined 30 percent of his match fee for violating the ICC Code of Conduct during the game against Pakistan which India won by 5 wickets. Kohli had showed dissent at the umpire after he was given out leg before.
