Sri Lanka have booked their place in the final of the Asia Cup cricket tournament, now under way in Bangladesh. Playing their third match at Mirpur today, Sri Lanka defeated Afghanistan by an impressive margin of 129 runs. Set to score 254 for a win, Afghanistan were all out for 124 in 38.4 overs. Sri Lanka had made 253 for 6 in their 50 overs. Sri Lanka collected five points for today's victory which also included a bonus point. Now Sri Lanka top the table in the five-nation tournament with 13 points after playing three games.
