Asia Cup round robin match: India set a target of 246 for Pakistan

India have set a target of 246 for Pakistan in their round robin match in Asia Cup 2014 at Shere Bangla National Stadium at Mirpur in Bangladesh. Pakistan won the toss and put India into bat , who scored 245 in the alloted 50 overs, losing 8 wickets.The mainstay of Indian innings was 58 by Rayudu , 56 by Rohit Sharma and and unbeaten 52 by Jadeja. Rahane and Kartik contributed a valuable 23 each.The match assumes greater significance as it is a battle for survival for both the teams after each suffered a loss in the tournament.
