Asia Cup: Pakistan sets target of 263 against Bangladesh

In the opening cricket match of the Asia Cup in Mirpur, Bangladesh were 228 for 6 in 44 overs against Pakistan when report last came in . Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss but elected to bowl first. Having invited to bat, Pakistan set a victory target of 263 for the hosts. For Pakistan, Mohammad Hafeez and Nasir Jamshed struck half centuries but it was Umar Gul's hefty blows towards the end that lifted Pakistan to 262 for eight in 50 overs.
