Earlier today, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat, scoring 260 runs at a loss of five wickets in 50 overs. Lasith Malinga took all the five wickets. Fawad Alam remained not out with his blitzcrig 114 runs in 134 balls, saving Pakistan's situation. Misbah-ul Haq contributed 65 and Umar Akmal 59.
