Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first against India in last league match of the Asia Cup Cricket at Mirpur in Dhaka. Pakistan were 36 for the loss of no wickets in 8 overs, when reports last came in. It is a must-win match only for India as Pakistan have already booked a place in the final. Pakistan go into the high-voltage clash with a clean chit, having beaten the hosts Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in their two previous matches. Those wins earned them a top spot in the points table, with a bonus point. An Indian victory will not only take them virtually into the final but also shut the door on Sri Lanka, who have so far lost both their matches. But if India lose and Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh, then all three teams will be on four points, leaving the net run rate to decide the second finalist. All India Radio is broadcasting a running commentary on the match. It can be heard on Rajdhani, FM Gold and additional frequencies.
