Asia Cup Hockey: India takes on Pakistan in final Super-4 match

The third and final Super 4 match of the 10th men's Asia Cup hockey between India and Pakistan at Dhaka began after a 90-minute delay today due to persistent rain in the Bangladeshi capital. It was scheduled to start at 5 p.m. India lead Pakistan 3-nil in the third quarter when reports last came in. India are on top of the table in Super 4 stage with four points from a win and a draw. Pakistan have one point from a draw. But India are plus 4 in goal difference while Pakistan has a minus 1. Pakistan need a win and that too a big one to overhaul India for a place in the final. In today's match, a draw would be enough for India to seal their place in tomorrow's summit clash.Indian captain Manpreet Singh has exuded confidence that it will be a simple win and India will take its place in the final.
