In the Asia Cup Cricket final, chasing a victory target of 171 runs set by Sri Lanka,  Pakistan were 28 for 2 in 4.4 overs at the Dubai International Stadium , when reports last came in.

Earlier, put into bat first, Sri Lanka posted 170 runs for the loss of six wickets in stipulated 20 overs with the help of Bhanuka Rajapaksa unbeaten 71 off 45 balls. For Pakistan, Haris Rauf picked up three wickets.

In the tournament, Sri Lanka have won all three matches in the Super 4 stage of the tournament while Pakistan won two out of their three Super 4 games to book a seat in the final.
