India beat Pakistan in a nail biting finish in their round robin match in Asia Cup 2014 this evening. At Shere Bangla National Stadium at Mirpur in Bangladesh, Pakistan chasing a target of 246 romped home in the last over with one wicket in hand and two balls to spare. Pakistan won the toss and put India into bat , who scored 245 in the allotted 50 overs, losing 8 wickets.The match was a battle for survival for both the teams after each suffered a loss in the tournament .
