Five-time champions India ended their Asia Cup cricket campaign with a consolation win. In a lop-sided encounter at Mirpur in Bangladesh yesterday, India defeated debutantes Afghanistan by eight wickets, which also earned them a bonus point. India chased down the paltry 160-run target in 32.2 overs. Earlier, Afghanistan were skittled out for 159 in 45.2 overs. Man of the Match Ravindra Jadeja claimed four wickets in his 10 overs. India who were already out of contention for the final, finished with Nine points in the five-nation tournament. The final between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played in Dhaka on Saturday. Both the teams hold the top two places in the points table.
