In the Asia Cup cricket tournament, being held at Sher-e-Bangla national stadium, in Mirpur, Bangladesh, India were 241 for 2 in 39 overs in their one day match against Pakistan when report last came in. This was in reply to Pakistan's 329 for six wickets in 50 overs.Both the Pakistani openers, Mohammad Hafeez and Nasir Jamshed hit centuries. While Hafeez was out for 105, Jamshed fell at 112. The efforts of Indian pacers, Dinda, Praveen Kumar, Ashwin and Irfan Pathan were of no avail in the face of aggressive batting of Pakistani batsmen.
