The Indian cricket team led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni reached Dhaka today to participate in the Asia Cup 2012 Tournament beginning from tomorrow. India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Hosts Bangladesh are participating in the 11th edition of the Asia Cup Tournament. The inaugural match will be played between Bangladesh and Pakistan on Sunday at the Sher -E Bangla stadium at Mirpur in Dhaka which is thevenue for all the matches of the tournament. Defending Champions India will take on Sri Lanka on March 13th, Bangladesh on March 16th and arch rivals Pakistan on March 18th in the group stage matches. The finals between the top two teams from the group stage will be played on March 22nd. India had won the Asia Cup title for a record fifth time by defeating the hosts Sri lanka in the previous edition of the tournament.
