Asia Cricket Cup: India 245 for 2 in 45 overs<br/>

In the Asia Cricket Cup 2012 tournament, defending champions India were 245 for 2 in 45 overs against Hosts Bangladesh when reports last came in. Earlier Bangladesh won the toss and elected to field at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium at Mirpur in Dhaka. Buoyed by the victory against Sri Lanka by a margin of 50 runs in their first match on Tuesday, India is looking today to confirm a berth in the finals by defeating Bangladesh ahead of their next high voltage encounter with arch rivals Pakistan. Bangladesh, on the other hand, desperately need to win against India to keep themselves in contention, following their loss to Pakistan in the inaugural match. Pakistan has already qualified for the final with a victory against Sri Lanka yesterday and a victory against Bangladesh in the inaugural match of the tournament.
