Asia Bibi Blasphemy Case: Over 90 members of hardline religious parties arrested in Pakistan

<span style="color: #222222;">In Pakistan, over 90 members of hardline religious parties have been arrested from different parts of Punjab province for holding demonstrations against the Supreme Court's decision to reject a review plea against the acquittal of Christian woman Aasia Bibi in a blasphemy case. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Punjab Police spokesperson Nabila Ghazanfar said that most arrests have been made from Lahore, Gujranwala and Ralwapindi. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Yesterday, Supreme Court rejected a review petition against its decision to acquit Aasia Bibi who was on death row for eight years on charges of blasphemy. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Bibi, a 47-year-old mother of four, who is now in protective custody, was convicted in 2010 after being accused of insulting Islam in a row with her neighbours.</span>
