Gujarat CID today arrested an assistant sub-inspector and three police constables from Patan district in connection the fake encounter of Tulti Prajapati in 2006. The number of policemen arrested in this case has gone upto six. ASI Jathubha Darbar was arrested this morning while constables Karansinh Sisodia, Kanji Kutchi and Kiransinh Chauhan were arrested on Thursday night. CID officials said in Ahmedabad that Prajapati was considered to be key witness in the fake encounter of Sohrabuddin Sheikh and alleged murder of his wife Kausar Bi by a team of policemen from Gujarat, Andhra pradesh and Rajasthan in 2005. IPS officer Vipul Agarwal and police constable Vinod Chaudhary were arrested by CID earlier this week in the same case and are presently in the agency's custody till 11th of May. The state police had recently admitted that Prajapati's encounter was a stage-managed one. According to investigation officer R K Patel, there are in all 12 accused in the case, of which six have been arrested. <br/>
