Ashtami is being celebrated on Sunday under the Navratri festival throughout the state. On this occasion, Kanya Pujan is being carried on by households. These days, Garba events are also being organized in different villages of Sirohi, Jalore, Banswara, and Dungarpur districts adjacent to Gujarat. Through these events with devotion and enthusiasm, the districts administration is also motivating more and more eligible voters to vote in the ensuing assembly elections.
