Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani is arriving in New Delhi today on a two-day visit. The visiting dignitary will hold discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will also host a lunch in the honour Mr Ghani. AIR correspondent reports that the discussions between both the leaders will cover a wide range of matters of mutual interest. The visit will provide an opportunity to continue the close and frequent consultations between the two friendly neighbours, including at the highest level. <br/><br/>External Affairs Ministry has said, such interaction is the hallmark of their strategic partnership and has guided the strengthening of all-round cooperation between the two countries. Afghanistan has been demanding increased defence supplies, including lethal weapons from India, which for the first time gave four Mi-25 attack helicopters to the country last year. During the visit, President Ghani will also interact with business community and deliver an address at a prominent think tank in New Delhi.
