Ashleigh Barty continues her Wimbledon campaign with a 6-1, 6-3 second-round victory over Belgium's Alison van Uytvanck today. 

Australian world number one will play British wild card Harriet Dart for a place in the last 16. Dart defeated Brazilian qualifier Beatriz Haddad Maia 7-6, 3-6, 6-1 today.  

2017 US Open champion Sloane Stephens, seeded nine, who defeated her Chinese opponent Wang Yafan 6-0, 6-2 will play either British 19th seed Johanna Konta or Katerina Siniakova of the Czech Republic in the next round.

In the men's singles category, a match is underway between Eight-time champion Roger Federer and  British wild card Jay Clarke while two-time champion Rafael Nadal will clash  Australian Nick Kyrgios later today. 

World number one Novak Djokovic, Kevin Anderson, Karolina Pliskova and Simona Halep are among those who advanced to the third round. 

Former world number one Andy Murray will play in the men's doubles —  with French partner Pierre-Hugues Herbert against Marius Copil of Romania and Herbert's compatriot Ugo Humbert.
 
Earlier, Leander Paes and his French partner Benoit Paire and another pair of Purav Raja and Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan have crashed out in the first round of Men's Doubles. Paes and Benoit Paire lost to the Kazakh duo of Alexander Bublik and Mikhail Kukushkin, 6-4, 7-6, 3-6, 6-7, 7-9. Purav and Nedunchezhiyan were beaten by the Aussie team of Lleyton Hewitt and Jordan Thompson, 6-2, 6-3, 6-2.
