In the ongoing Ashes series, Australia have won the second Cricket Test against England by 405 runs. At Lord's, England, who were set 509 runs for victory in the fourth-innings, collapsed to 103 all out after tea on the fourth day yesterday. England were dismissed in a mere 37 overs in their second innings. Earlier, resuming at their overnight score of 108 for no loss, Australia declared their second innings on 254 for two. With today's win, Australia levelled the five-Test Ashes series One-One. England had taken a One-Nil lead after their 169-run win in the first Test in Cardiff. Steven Smith was named man-of-the-match for his Test-best 215 in Australia's first innings total of 566 for eight declared. It is only the ninth time in the 138-year history of Test cricket a side has won by more than 400 runs.
