Secretary in External Affairs Ministry Anil Wadhwa has said the focus of the ASEAN with its partners has turned to the security architecture of the region due to the South China Sea Dispute. <br/><br/>Stating that the issue has been dominating the theme for the past few years, he said the summit is likely to adopt a document of Maritime Security. Speaking to AIR, Mr Wadhwa said new areas like Violent Extremism, Global Movement of Moderates and cyber security will be focused this time during the ASEAN-India summit.<br/><br/>Mr Wadhwa said trade and economic relations will remain as a major point during the deliberations, as new areas of co-operation will be explored under the New Action Plan.<br/><br/>He said the bilateral talks will include all issues like development of economic corridor in the Pakistan occupied Kashmir with China and Civil Nuclear Cooperation with Japan.
