The participants of the ASEAN-India car rally have entered Guwahati this evening. Thousands of people gathered in Guwahati and other places of Assam to have a glimpse of the rally. A warm reception was given to all the participants in Guwahati. A total of 125 participants have taken part in 33 cars which was begun on 26th of November in Indonesia. The rally covered eight thousand kilometers of eight countries over 22 days. The rally was jointly organized by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India and the Confederation of Indian Industry. The flag-down ceremony will be held tomorrow at Sarusajai stadium in presence of dignitaries of the ASEAN countries.
