In Assam, various measures are being taken by the Social Welfare department for the welfare of the Divyangs. Talking to AIR, Commissioner- Secretary of the department, Mr. Mukesh Chandra Sahu said that accessible audit is being conducted in phased manner under Accessible India initiative.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">He said that audit has been completed covering 48 buildings in Guwahati city in the first phase. Next round of audit will be conducted in other cities and towns.
