Nomination of candidates will be accepted since then till March 19th.The election to the 140 member Kerala legislative assembly will be held in single phase on April 6th.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">As the assembly polls are just a month away the major fronts in the State are in the final phase of discussions on seat sharing and candidates list. In coming days, the State is sure to witness a strong contest between the three major fronts, the ruling CPM lead LDF, the Congress lead UDF and the BJP lead NDA. 40,771 polling booths will be there for the assembly polls. The counting of the votes is scheduled on May 2nd.</span><br />
