Arvind Kejriwal visits Batala and Jalandhar

On the 4th day of his five day visit to Punjab, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal today visited Batala and Jalandhar. At Jalandhar, he is meeting Industrialists, Associations and party workers. <br/><br/>In Batala, during a public meeting, he expressed concern overt the suicides by farmers of the state and increasing drug menace. He assured to arrest drug smugglers after coming to power in Punjab. He said that people of Punjab are now fed up of corruption. He also assured to take state on the road of development. Member parliament Bhagwant Mann, Punjab Convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur and Gurpreet Ghuggi also addressed the gathering.<br/><br/>Before this public meeting, a protesting group of BJP workers tried to proceed towards the meeting place . Police lathicharged to stop them and arrested the BJP leaders.
