Arvind Kejriwal has formally launched his Aam Admi Party in the presence of supporters gathered at the Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on Monday. Introducing the party, he said that it will seek to curb corruption at all levels in the country. Mr. Kejriwal chose to launch his party on 26th November as the constitution of India was adopted on this day in 1949. Before launching the party, he and his colleagues visited Mahatma Gandhi's memorial Raj Ghat. He also paid tributes to father of the Constitution B.R. Ambedkar at his memorial.
