Arunima Sinha shifted to AIIMS

National-level volleyball player Arunima Sinha has been shifted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences, AIIMS, in Delhi. Her condition is stable. She was being treated in a Lucknow hospital.The decision to shift Arunima comes immediately after it was detected that her amputated left leg had been infected and swollen. Union Sports Minister Ajay Maken met the athlete in Lucknow on Monday. He has also asked the officials of Sports Authority of India (SAI) to visit the athlete in hospital and give their report on her health to the ministry on a daily basis.23-year-old Arunima also a national level football player lost her leg after being pushed out of a moving train by some robbers near Bareilly on the night of 11th April while she was on her way to Gautam Buddha Nagar to appear in CISF recruitment examination.
