Arunachal to bring law to regulate land issues

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu today said the government would come up with a law to regulate land-related issues in the state. The Minister said, in the absence of a land act, the state government has sought funds from Centre to survey land for proper records. He said a legislators' panel headed by land management parliamentary secretary Padi Richo and Laeta Umbrey, Tani Loffa and Techi Kaso as members has been formed to work out modalities of the bill.He said Rampant constructions are on in Itanagar and a strong law is needed to check the menace.
