<span style="color: #222222;">In Arunachal Pradesh, many NGOs and people of Daporijo Town in Upper Subansiri District are coming forward to help commuters with foods and refreshments on the roadside who are travelling to other districts via Daporijo. After the State Government issued passes for many stranded people in the Capital City Itanagar and other districts to move to their home towns, these commuters are taking the intra-state roads via Daporijo, avoiding the NH-15 which is in Assam.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Arunachal Pradesh is geographically a big state. It takes the whole day to travel from western part of the state to the eastern part. Moreover, with no shops and roadside-hotels open at this point of time due to nation-wide lockdown, it would be very difficult for anyone to make the journey without food and water, especially the children and aged people. Anticipating this hardship, NGOs and general public of Daporijo, came out to ease the journey of these travellers with snacks and refreshment on the road.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Moreover, it is reported that, the land lords of the Daporijo Complex in Daporijo Township have waived off one month's rent for more than 100 tenants affected by the lockdown. All the tenants are non-Arunachalees and are mostly from Assam, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, doing business or other jobs at Daporijo since many years.</span><br />''  <br />
