Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt. General KT Parnaik (Retd.) reviewed the law and order scenario of the State in Itanagar today. The meeting was attended by the State Director General of Police Anand Mohan, Inspector General of Police (Law & Order) Chukhu Apa, and Itanagar Capital Region Superintendent of Police Rohit Rajbir Singh amongst others.<br />'' <br />'' On the occasion, the Governor emphasized the need to ensure that law and order are maintained in the State, particularly in eastern districts. He advised the State DGP to take all necessary precautions and actions to prevent any untoward incidents or disruptions in law and order. He stressed that the peaceful environment prevailing in the State is not vitiated by forces with vested interests. He said that any act of violence or law and order situation should be dealt with firmly and effectively.<br />'' <br />'' The Director General of Police briefed the Governor about the proactive role of the police in ensuring law and order in Arunachal Pradesh, including measures taken to address the insurgent activity in Tirap, Changlang, Longding (TCL) districts and efforts being taken to tackle the drug trafficking in the State.<br />
