<span style="color: #222222;">Arunachal Pradesh education department is trying its best to deliver education to the students during this lockdown period. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Speaking to All India Radio, State Education Secretary, Niharika Rai said that the department will telecast TV based online classes for classes 6 to 8 daily on DD Arunprabha Channel from this week. She said materials for the same is being prepared in association with the teachers of Kendra Vidyalaya.<br />'' <br />'' The Secretary education informed that the department has put up proposal in front of the government for re-opening of schools in the state from mid-June, provided there are very few COVID-19 cases in the state and the situation is under control. She said the proposal under consideration is to reopen classes from 6 to 10. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">She added that classes will be held on shift basis, where only 15 to 20 students will be allowed to attend a class at a time. She said all the safety protocols for the students and teachers will be followed. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">But as of now Arunachal government has not taken any specific decision about re-opening of schools. Mrs. Rai added that the department has also proposed the reopening of the primary classes from early part of July, if the situation permits.  <br />'' <br />''Arunachal Pradesh on Sunday reported its second COVID-19 case after a student who has returned from New Delhi tested positive. Now the state has one active positive case, the first person who had tested positive for the virus was discharged from hospital last month after testing negative twice.   </span>
