Giving a new thrust to the sports sector, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki has launched the Chief Minister's Trophy for Football and Volleyball tournaments to be played in both men and women events. The trophy was formally launched at Sangay Lhaden Sports Academy Sports Complex in Chimpu near Itanagar on Friday. Mr Tuki said the Trophy instituted by him intended to explore the hidden sporting talents of the state.
