In Arunachal Pradesh, Smt. Chakat Aboh was sworn in as a member of the state Legislative Assembly today. The Oath was administered by Assembly Speaker Passang Dorjee Sona at Dorjee Khandu Auditorium in the Assembly Secretariat in Itanagar. Smt. Chakat Aboh, wife of slain NPP leader Tirong Aboh, won the recently held by-election to the Khonsa (West) Assembly as independent candidate. She defeated Azet Homtok, another independent candidate by 1887 votes.
