In Arunachal Pradesh, the State Government has announced  lockdown for one week starting from 6th of July in wake of increasing COVID-19 positive cases in Itanagar Capital Complex.<br />'' <br />'' Addressing a press conference in Itanagar today, Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar said the lockdown will be imposed from 5 a.m. of  6th July till 5 p.m. of 12th July.  He said, it has been observed that COVID-19 positive cases have increased in the Capital Complex in the last one week and hence, the decision of lockdown was taken. The Chief Secretary said that details of activities that will be exempted from the lockdown will be announced tomorrow.<br />'' <br />'' Capital Complex in Itanagar has the highest number of COVID-19 cases in Arunachal Pradesh. A total of 89 cases have been reported so far in the Capital city out of which active cases stand at 81 and eight discharged. <br />
