<span style="color: #222222;">Arunachal Pradesh Government has decided to impose a cess of 25 per cent on all alcoholic beverages which will be effective from today. Chief Minister Pema Khandu, in a social media post, said that the decision has been taken to augment state's own resources. It will help the state exchequer to generate a revenue of 70 crore rupees which will be used in the combat against COVID-19. The Chief Minister said that the cess has been levied at retail prices and shall be payable before movement of goods from wholesale vends to retail outlets.</span><br />''  <br />
