In Arunachal Pradesh, 11 cases of Japanese Encephalitis have been reported from across the state. Five cases have been reported from East Siang District, 3 from Papum Pare and one each from Upper Subansiri, Lohit and Kra Daadi districts. <br />''<br />''As of now no death have been reported due to JE in the state. All the 11 patients tested positive with Japanese Encephalitis virus are under treatment in various hospitals. The Department of Health and Family Welfare in the state has initiated all preventive and necessary steps to contain the virus from further spreading.<br />
