Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki has stressed the need for taking up horticulture as a viable source for sustainable income generation in the state. Tuki, who visited Mengio circle in Papum Pare district, exhorted the youths in a rally to go for horticultural activities instead of looking for white-collar jobs.Official sources said in Itanagar that the Chief Minister highlighted the potential areas for growing cash crops like cardamom and various other horticultural produces. Tuki also suggested encouraging mithun (local buffalo) development scheme which has enormous scope in the region.
