Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will hold the quarterly review meeting of the Chief Executive Officers of the Public Sector Banks and Financial Institutions in New Delhi today. Mr Jaitley will broadly review the annual financial performance of the Public Sector Banks during the Financial Year 2014-15. He will also review the performance of banks with regard to their performance in overall credit growth with particular reference to Agriculture Credit, Education Loans, Housing Loans and Non Performing Assets. The Finance Minister will also review the progress of social security schemes Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana. He will also review the progress made with regard to Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency, MUDRA, expeditious disposal of public grievances and credit enhancement guarantee scheme for scheduled castes among others.
